It's a close-knit community with regular resident newsletters, seasonal get-togethers and fishing competitions. There is a well-serviced community centre which is situated at the local camping ground. For all your household needs you're only a short 10 minute drive to Southbridge or 15 minutes to the Leeston township and for those who don't mind a commute or wish to have handy access for weekend getaways you're just 40 minutes to the city fringe.
